Lovely family run place with great food and great hospitality. Lovely complimentary warm bread and garlic butter. I had moussaka and we shared a baklava and icecream

Stumbled across this little gem as it was located behind our apartment. It’s set away from the seafront. Highly recommend for traditional Cypriot food, just like Mother used to make. Starters of feta and Halloumi were accompanied by warm bread and garlic butter. There’s a house special main course everyday. The Kleftiko was succulent and fell off the bone. I ordered the mixed grill and was not disappointed. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert but the home made banana liqueur went down a treat. The house white sold by the litre jug was too easy to drink! The staff were super friendly.

We came to Mother's Restaurant because of great rewievs on google maps and they are all true! Restaurant has a lovely, quiet and charming atmosphere, with lots of greens and flowers all around. We were greeted warmly and felt welcomed by both vaiters. They are really nice. We got bread and garlic butter as starters. There are vegeterian options, I ordered vegeterian musaka and it was great, served with salad. Boyfriend had daily special with pork in red wine and he also loved it. We loved it so much that we came again the last day of our trip. I had vegetarian koupepia and boyfriend daily special. Both times the food exceeded our expectations - fresh ingredients and generous portions. 10/10!

The food was spectacular and the people that owned the restaurant were so kind and welcoming. We were part of a pre-wedding group celebration and the owners of the restaurant couldn't do enough to accommodate for us. You can tell that a lot of love had gone into and years of well practiced recipes were shared. It was a fantastic dinner and I hope I get the opportunity to visit again

This is an absolute hidden gem! Located at the back of a development, through an arch which say Leptos Basilica Centre. If you have a picture in your head of a typical local Taverna this is it. Excellent food (the mixed grill is a meat lovers dream). Very friendly staff and nice background music. If you are looking for a lovely local Taverna look no further. As a seasoned reviewer I would give Mother's 6 stars if I could. They close on 30 November for the season so don't miss out!

We had dinner here twice. Hands down the best food in Paphos. Excellent lamb chops, fish & meatballs. And not only that, they are super friendly people. A true family restaurant. Very good price. Highly recommended!

This is a hidden gem. It's through an arch off the main street or up a side road in Paphos Harbour (Kato Paphos). We were recommended the place by people in the neighbouring villa in Coral Bay. We arrived on a Thursday lunchtime after 1pm and the place was deserted. After a while I shouted Ola, and got a Ola in reply. We ordered some wine and started choosing from the menu, opting for the special of the day, Tavas. The food and drinks were very good value compared to the ones on the sea front minutes walk away. While we were were there, two more couples and a small group arrived to eat. It was a very relaxing meal.
